Company History

BIGGERHEAD'S DINER (1979 - 1983)

Sometime in the 1970s, two longtime friends and business partners William Afton and Henry Emily founded Noob Entertainment, making the character Noob as their mascot. Afton also had his own company named Afton Robotics at the time, and according to a few records, they also hired a contractor to aid them, however there isn't anything related to a name at all. The two of them decided on starting up a restaurant together, eventually thinking of combining the restaurant idea with the concept of mascots performing on stage for entertainment. Sometime in 1979, the two of them opened Biggerhead's Diner in Utah. They had originally wanted to use Noob for the main character of the restaurant, however they decided on making a new character to be more unique. There were only two animatronics on stage at the time of the place opening, Biggerhead and Bacon (also known as Cooked Bacon as an alternate name), with a puppet-like Roblox animatronic being built by Henry placed near the prize counter for security purposes.

The diner quickly became quite a popular spot for locals to visit, as the food was great, and the animatronic performances were state-of-the-art. They were able to be worn as costumes and also function as regular animatronics, something nobody else has ever done. William and Henry built a few different iterations of these “Springlock” animatronics as they were called to better accommodate other body types (humanoid, blocky, etc.) There were also a few characters made as well, one named Bighead, and one named "Greyscale." There was also a cashier animatronic, and an animatronic made for security purposes, which was completely grey with a wheeled mechanism instead of legs, and sported a monitor for a head.

Sometime in 1983, the diner had closed down because of some incident, with most coverage on it being entirely classified. The place was quickly closed shortly thereafter, with some guests noting that in the last few days of the place being open all the animatronics were being moved out. After Biggerhead's Diner shut down, Afton was working on some other project, which has little to no coverage on it as well, unfortunately. At an unknown date, the original building for the diner was demolished.

NOOB'S PIZZA (1985)

Eventually in 1985, Afton and Emily started up a new restaurant named Noob's Pizza, located in a different spot from where Biggerhead's was set up. Still in Utah, but not the same area. They had originally wanted to make the place much bigger than the diner, however due to budget constraints, they had to rethink the layout of the building, causing it to be only a bit larger than its predecessor. They made new animatronics that did not feature Springlock technology, and replaced Biggerhead and "Cooked" Bacon with Noob and a different Bacon design, along with some other new characters, being Noodle and Guest. They had two stages in the new restaurant, with Noob, Bacon, and Noodle being on the main show stage, and Guest being in the secondary stage named Pirate's Cove. They also had an arcade room that was full of arcade games. The Roblox animatronic was not used in this restaurant nor any animatronics from the diner, seemingly being kept in storage.

The place was initially not very well-recieved from the public, but eventually locals started to warm up to the location and enjoyed what it had. The animatronics were smaller than the diner's iterations, but they were more advanced at this time, being fully robotic instead of being wearable. They had the ability to roam freely and interact with guests in a fashion like no other. Eventually after a few months of the place being open however, the place closed for a few days as Noob Entertainment was being investigated for disappearances that happened during the time it was open, though were dismissed after there wasn't any evidence against them. Although they were in the clear, the restaurant shut down after a few weeks due to lack of funds. After the restaurant's closure, William and Henry disappeared from the public eye for some time, seeming to be more distant from one another. Henry eventually started showing up publicly, with William rarely appearing at this time, seemingly running things in the shadows. The building for Noob's Pizza sat abandoned for some time until it was demolished in 1986.

NOOB'S BLOXXIN (1993)

Eventually, on March 2, 1993, Henry opened up Noob's Bloxxin, with William running things behind the scenes. They built the restaurant using the original Noob's Pizza concepts they made, and relocated to an area nearby where the original diner was located. The original building had a different design than the more well-known one, with the outside having column looking structures built over it, and some aspects like checkerboarding on the exterior walls being present. The animatronics this time still had the same general design, however they were much larger compared to any previous ones (except for Biggerhead), including much more advanced technology in them. They also reused the Roblox animatronic, and kept it in the prize counter along with the diner's cashier animatronic, which was also remodeled. On the initial opening day, the restaurant was harshly criticized for opening due to supposed rumors going around the restaurant (which have been proven false by now), so the place didn't have too many people visiting on its first week or so. By that time, the company was planning on remodeling the building using the budget they had, and temporarily closed the restaurant for a little while.

Once the place reopened, the locals started to come to the restaurant, although being a bit more skeptical because of the rumors, though their worries slowly dwindled after a while. The place was eventually loved by the customers visiting! The building in terms of layout was mostly the same, although it looked much more polished than it was before. The cashier animatronic was also changed into Monitor, which was a mix of the cashier and the diner's security program. It would maintain a pretty steady flow of people visiting up until late 1993, as the building had very obvious signs of neglect that gradually increased. This was largely due to the janitor getting fired apparently, and the company not bothering to hire a new one.

Sometime in October, a few security hires who worked at the restaurant went missing, causing locals to spread false accusations of the company having to do with it, leading to the reputation of Noob Entertainment getting even more tarnished, unfortunately. By this time, they were starting to take things out of the restaurant and being placed in storage. The company had a backup plan for if this restaurant closed down. Apparently the company was going to sell the building to another restaurant, and start anew in a different location. Aside from the cleanup crew during the day, pretty much every other employee had left, some still sticking by the company's side, some leaving after years of working with them. Shortly after this, William Afton completely disappeared from the public eye. Their last employee hired was a night security guard for their last week or so. During Noob's Bloxxin's last day, a fire apparently started in the kitchen, causing an explosion to occur. The fire quickly spread to the other parts of the pizzeria, causing very little of the place to be saved. The animatronics were mostly okay, so they were dragged out and put into storage along with everything else they were able to keep. After this, Noob Entertainment went radio silent for the next few years.

NOOB'S JR'S (1997)

Eventually, four years later, Noob Entertainment was able to open up a new restaurant. There isn't much coverage of it, due to Noob Entertainment being seen in a bad light due to the aftermath of their previous restaurant. All that's known of the place is that the place was apparently quite large, used some old props from Noob's Bloxxin, and had newer animatronics, dubbed the “toy” animatronics by the company. The older models were kept in a back area and were used for any functioning parts they had. Most of them were not used due to the damage from the fire. The place also reused the Roblox animatronic again, sporting a newer suit design. The place didn't last long apparently, as it was under investigation for its last few days before shutting down for classified reasons. This was the last restaurant Noob Entertainment opened up before the company went stagnant. Nobody has heard from William Afton or Henry Emily for decades now.

HORROR ATTRACTION (2026?)

Although this isn't officially from the company, there has been a concept floating around from Noob's enthusiasts of a horror attraction based on the restaurants. It is apparently set to open sometime in 2026 possibly, and will include REAL props from the original places! Will include more stuff about it when it officially opens up.
